How it works / self enrollment
TruEnroll is a self-service place to understand health coverage. You answer a few questions, see plan prices with your subsidy already applied, check your doctors and prescriptions, then enroll. Help is available at any point, and only if you want it.
No account needed to look. Nothing is submitted to a carrier until you choose a plan.

The journey
Four steps, in the order you would actually take them
Nothing is hidden behind a phone call. Each step tells you what you give and what you get back.
Tell us three things
ZIP code, household size and expected income. That is enough to price every plan in your county.
About 20 seconds
See prices after subsidies
Your premium tax credit is applied before you see a single number, so the price on screen is the price you pay.
Priced from CMS rate tables
Check doctors and drugs
Confirm your providers are in network and your prescriptions sit on the formulary at a tier you can afford.
Carrier directories and formularies
Enroll and get reviewed
Submit it yourself or hand the application to a licensed agent for a final look before it reaches the carrier.
Licensed review at the end

Different situations need different starting points
Marketplace coverage, Medicare and plain research are separate doors. Pick the one that matches where you are today.

Marketplace coverage
For people under 65 buying their own coverage. Compare every plan in your county with the premium tax credit already applied, then enroll yourself.

- Subsidy applied before you see a price
- Special enrollment questions built in
Turning 65 or already enrolled
For Medicare Advantage, Part D and supplement decisions. Coverage rules differ from the marketplace, so the questions and the checks differ too.

Research and tools
Look things up first
For people who are not ready to enroll. Search doctors, look up prescriptions, estimate a subsidy or read how deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums work.

Sources
Official data, shown with its limits
We name every source behind a number so you can judge how much weight it carries.
Series DATA / sourcing
Where the information on screen comes from
We do not write plan data ourselves. Everything you compare is pulled from official marketplace sources and current plan documents, then displayed with the household details you entered.
Plan and pricing data
Plan details, rates and county rating areas come from CMS marketplace data and our quoting partner HealthSherpa. We show what the source returns for your county.
Networks and drug lists
Provider directories and formularies come from the carriers and CMS files behind each plan. Directories change through the year, so confirm anything critical with the plan.
Subsidy math
Subsidy estimates use the federal poverty level tables and the household details you enter. The final amount is confirmed by the marketplace when your application is processed.
Estimates are estimates. Prices, networks and drug tiers can change between plan years and mid-year updates, and the marketplace makes the final eligibility determination. Read the full data and compliance notes .
Trudy
An assistant, not a salesperson
Trudy explains coverage language on request. She has no quota and no plan to push.
Series ASK / assistant
Trudy is there to explain, if you want her
Trudy is an AI assistant built around plan documents and coverage rules. She reads the fine print so you do not have to, and she is happy to be ignored.
Explains, does not sell
Trudy answers questions about deductibles, networks, drug tiers and enrollment windows. She does not rank carriers or push a plan.
Optional at every step
You can complete an entire enrollment without opening her once. Close the panel and the flow works exactly the same.
No hidden handoff
Asking Trudy something does not put you in a call queue. A licensed person joins only when you request it or when an application needs review.

What is the difference between the deductible and the out-of-pocket max?
The deductible is what you pay before the plan starts sharing costs. The out-of-pocket max is the yearly ceiling on what you can pay in total. On this silver plan those are $2,000 and $7,150.
Which one should I care about more?
It depends on how much care you expect. If you rarely use it, the premium matters most. If you have ongoing treatment, the out-of-pocket max is the number that protects you.

Trust and privacy
What happens to your information
Health and income details deserve a clear policy, so here it is in plain language.
We do not sell your details
Your ZIP code, household size and income stay in your session for quoting. They are not sold to lead buyers and not pushed into a dialer.
Licensed review, no cost to you
A licensed agent reviews an application before it reaches the carrier. Carriers pay a commission set by the state, so your premium is the same either way.
Health details handled carefully
Anything you enter about doctors or prescriptions is used to check coverage only. It is transmitted over encrypted connections and kept out of quote payloads.
Access and language help
Free language assistance and accessible alternatives are available on request. Non-discrimination and accessibility notices are published in full.
Full notices, disclaimers and security posture live on the trust and compliance page .
