About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to truenroll.org, operated by TruEnroll Health ("TruEnroll", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What the site does
The site provides information about health and Medicare coverage, tools that estimate subsidies and compare plan options, checks for whether a plan covers your doctors or prescriptions, and support from a TruEnroll support specialist if you want it.
TruEnroll is a plan-comparison and enrollment-support service. We are not a health insurance carrier, we do not underwrite, issue, or administer coverage, and we are not a medical provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the federal government, HealthCare.gov, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or any state Marketplace.
No guarantee of eligibility, price, or outcome
- Estimates are estimates. Subsidy amounts, premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket figures shown before an application is completed can change once the Marketplace or carrier verifies your details.
- Plan availability, provider networks, and drug formularies are set by carriers and change over time. Carrier plan documents, not this site, control what is covered.
- We do not guarantee that you will qualify for a subsidy, a special enrollment period, or any plan, or that an enrollment will be accepted or take effect on a particular date.
- Coverage begins only when the carrier or Marketplace confirms it, including any required first payment.
Not medical, legal, or tax advice
Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or tax advice. Plan comparisons are not a recommendation about your care. Questions about premium tax credit reconciliation or your tax filing belong with a tax professional or the IRS, and legal questions belong with your own attorney.
Your information and accurate answers
Applications and eligibility results depend on the accuracy of what you enter. You agree to provide information that is accurate and complete, and to submit information about another person only when you are authorized to do so. Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading, including submitting information you are not authorized to submit.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access, or interfere with the site's operation or security.
- Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download site content or data, or use automated tools against the site outside the interfaces we make available for that purpose.
- Do not copy, resell, or redistribute the site's content, tools, or output as your own product or service.
- Do not upload malicious code or content that infringes another person's rights.
Accounts
If you create a member account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these terms.
Intellectual property
The site, including its text, layout, design, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by TruEnroll or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use in evaluating coverage. No other license is granted, and the TruEnroll name and logo may not be used without our written permission.
Plan, provider, and drug data displayed on the site originates from carriers, public marketplace data services, and other sources that retain their own rights in that data.
Third-party links and services
The site links to and can pass you along to third-party services, including carrier sites, enrollment platforms, and government resources. We do not control those services, we are not responsible for their content, availability, decisions, or terms, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued, and third-party data sources may be unavailable or return incomplete results.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and without any warranty that content is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruEnroll and its owners, staff, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, or loss of coverage, arising out of or relating to your use of the site, even if we were advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations apply only as far as the law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent update. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
